LHRDC's mission is to empower residents of Lincoln Heights through developing sustainable green infrastructure, provide training and promoting holistic lifestyle practices. Through these means, our goal is to equip residents and help them move from the abstract idea of wanting to help or better a community into creating systems that do just that—helping people take more control over their lives, what they put into their bodies, equipping them with the resources to replicate these systems and using this to connect with the other members of the village in a positive and empowering way.

We provide educational classes in the village, schools, and other public spaces, as well as utilizing social media channels and the corporation website to provide facts, events, education, statistics, and other related data on green infrastructures. The construction of a sustainable village allows for permanent job creation, eradicating chronic food deserts, and creating a vibrant, healthy and sustainable village.
