Hearing Speech + Deaf Center provides a barrier-free, inclusive, and nurturing environment for anyone seeking to overcome obstacles regarding speech, language, literacy, hearing, or deafness. Our mission is to empower individuals and families with successful communication tools and opportunities through advocacy, excellence, and inclusion. Our vision is to be the community leader in providing access to all people to realize their full communication potential.

Hearing Speech + Deaf Center actively engages with UC students through a variety of meaningful opportunities. We regularly welcome student volunteers who support our programs and gain hands-on experience in the field. Additionally, we host graduate and capstone students, providing valuable mentorship and real-world learning environments that enhance their academic work. Many of these students go on to join our team professionally, as we proudly hire graduates to work in our audiology and speech clinics, helping to continue our mission while supporting their career development.
