About our Organization

Campus YMCA is a student-run movement that empowers youth changemakers to think big by providing them with access to experiential learning opportunities like the National Conference in D.C. and local initiatives. Our work centers around civic engagement education and action. Our mission is to train public servants as servant leaders, emphasize policy over politics, and make public service relevant to all college students, regardless of their field of study. The national network of chapters and individuals implement Campus YMCA Initiatives to further these goals. Locally, we are working on initiatives to extend the public's awareness of the scope of citizenship from just national issues to issues at the local and global levels. We will be holding numerous events throughout the year to work towards this goal.

How our organization engages UC students

The mission of Campus Y is to serve as a resource for local and state high school and middle school YAG programs, encourage college students in the areas of civic engagement and social responsibility, and participate in the larger mission of the Campus Y. Campus YMCA also expands its reach to local organizations including non-profits and charities.
