Great Parks of Hamilton County was created in 1930 with the mission to protect local natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education for area residents. Great Parks currently maintains more than 17,000 acres of parkland made up of 21 parks and preserves. More than 80% of Great Parks’ 17,000 acres of land are managed as natural areas to preserve bio-diversity and promote wildlife diversity.
Our Mission is to preserve and protect natural resources and to provide outdoor recreation and education in order to enhance the quality of life for present and future generations.
