Roberts Academy partners with the University of Cincinnati to provide meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for UC students while enhancing academic and enrichment opportunities for our Wildcats. 1. UC Practicum Students Offering structured classroom experiences for UC students completing practicum coursework. Providing observation, instructional support, and intervention opportunities. 2. UC Student Teaching Hosting UC student teachers for semester-long placements under experienced mentor teachers. Supporting UC education students in implementing instructional strategies, classroom management, and lesson planning. 3. Bearcat Buddies (During & After-School Tutoring) Partnering with UC’s Bearcat Buddies program to provide structured, one-on-one tutoring in literacy and math. Supporting students both during the school day and in after-school academic programs. 4. Student Early Field Experiences Providing opportunities for UC students to complete early field experience requirements. Offering exposure to IB teaching strategies, restorative practices, and differentiated instruction in a diverse school setting. 5. Susan Sargen Student Enterprise Program (StEP) Van Engaging students in hands-on entrepreneurial learning through the StEP program. Connecting UC students with Roberts Academy classrooms to support financial literacy and business education initiatives.
